I started creating beeswax candles in my home a few years ago after I discovered the amazing benefits of beeswax candles. I hadn’t had a candle in my home for years before I started making these because of how toxic conventional candles are. I knew this was something that others would love and benefit from in their home. 

Those popular brand name candles you love to purchase from some big companies (most of us are very familiar with) contain hormone disrupting and cancer causing chemicals. Soy wax is a chemically bleached, heavy metal hydrogenated oil. Paraffin is a petroleum by-product that when heated, gives off a carcinogenic soot into the air. 

• Unlike most other waxes, beeswax is considered a renewable resource. 

• Beeswax purifies the air by releasing negative ions, leaving the air free of chemicals, odors, smoke, viruses, dust, pollen, mold spores, and toxins. This happens by negative ions grabbing a hold of nasty particles making them too heavy to remain airborne. They then drop to the floor or other surface where they are picked up when you dust or vacuum.

• Beeswax emits the brightest, most warm toned flame thanks to its higher melting point. Beeswax candles emit light that is similar to the light spectrum of sunlight. (Perfect to burn on a dark, cloudy day!)
